They are primarily used for clarification filtration of solutions (effluents, tissue culture, HPLC sample preparation, etc.). The compact design of the filter capsule minimizes hold-up volume and reduces exposure to hazardous chemicals. No adhesives, binders, or surfactants are used in the manufacturing process.

The product features high-quality microporous filter membranes, ensuring more effective experimental results. The color-coded edge design enhances both novelty and aesthetic appeal. Common membrane materials include polyethersulfone (PES), nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), cellulose acetate, and others. Standard sizes are 13 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm. The housing is made of polypropylene.
